LET’S GIVE BACK!

While we strive to inform, inspire, and introduce, we also aim to give back to the world. At LadiesFirst, we’re constantly seeking opportunities to empower individuals, and it all begins with the charities listed below. Take a moment to explore how we’ve been supporting these incredible organisations.

Charities – 2024

One of our ambassadors, Karen Jones, is deeply involved with this wonderful charity. Her passion and dedication was born out of family tragedy after her 15 year old niece, Sophie, lost her battle to the cruel disease. In her memory, as a family, they went on the raise tens of thousands of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust and Ladies First supported them in 2024.

The Friendship Project is a Warwickshire-wide charity that matches children and young people (who are in need, for a variety of reasons) with volunteers, for friendship and fun. The child may be caring for a sick parent or be limited to where they can go on holiday because of a disabled sibling or other family member. For some children, even playing in the park or going to the cinema are a rare treat. Having some time out from often difficult home situations really does improve the child’s self-esteem and self-worth. Our volunteers report that they too enjoy spending time with their Younger Friend knowing that they are really making a difference to a child’s life.
