Our Christmas Appeal

Having attended meetings in Coventry, Leamington, Stratford and Solihull recently I was saddened by the amount of people on the streets – always worse in the winter and particularly around Christmas.  Walking from shop to shop with bags of food and Christmas presents felt somehow obscene with many suffering such hardship.  I feel the same every year, but this year Julie, Lauren and I would like to try and help in some small way.

How you can help:

A Coventry Charity supporting the homeless and refugee families is seeking warm clothes of every size and description.  Please have a look in your cupboards for that coat, jumper, hat or scarf that you no longer wear.  Please bring along to the next meeting or email me to collect – no one should be cold.

Please bring a gift of food, toiletries or even a tin of dog food to our Christmas meeting on the 12thDecember.  We will distribute these to the various centres across Warwickshire. Again, if you are not attending and want to contribute – I can collect.    Many Thanks, Tracey x

Marie Curie

We did it – thank you to everyone who has supported us with our Marie Curie fundraising, in particular, Janine Edwards Wealth Management Ltd for sponsoring the Fashion Show.

Special thanks also to Jackie Allen of REVOLVE for the fantastic fashion show and Mallory Court for hosting our event.

We are now in a position to pay for a day, to run the Hospice in Solihull in memory of my Tracey’s mum Shirley.

We will be handing over our cheque for £7321.00
