1.Business Woman of the Year

This is to recognise someone who as either a Business Owner or member of Senior Management of a Company that has performed outstandingly throughout the year.  You and your business should stand out from the crowd, the winner of this category will have developed a strong business presence with proof of particular achievements and an innovative approach.

Judges will be looking for a person that can be universally admired for their commercial practice and dedication to success.


2.Outstanding Achievement Award

Recognising a Woman who has been an unsung hero or has put others before themselves.


3.New Business of the Year

 Sponsored by Lloyds Bank

This is to recognise and reward a new Business Owner who has being trading for no more than 2 years.

If nominated, we ask the business owner to tell us why they started the business, what their achievements and aspirations have being to date and potential for growth within the coming years.

The Judges are looking for a person who had a clear goal and followed her vision and dreams to deliver her initial idea.


4.Business Entrepreneur

 Sponsored by Stadium TM

This person is either a successful Entrepreneur, a self-starter and a motivator.

The Judges will be looking at individual achievements, results returned by their business and unique approach to the marketplace.  They will be selected for their entrepreneurial spirit.


5.Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) Award

Sponsored by – Coventry & Warwickshire Digital, Social & Technical

This is a Business Woman who works for a company or a Business Woman who owns a company which excels in the field of science and technology. This award recognises advancement and innovation in daily life.

The finalists will be selected on their dedication, sustainability and how they have been able to demonstrate how the use of STEM improves not only the performance and leads to expanded business growth of the company but also shows how women can succeed and inspire other women to enter their field of business which to some maybe perceived as male dominated industry.


6.Career from Home Award

We will be looking for a Business Woman who has decided to establish and set-up a business working from home.

This person will be recognised for their ability and dedication to developing something creative across a variety of industries.  They must be able to demonstrate dedication to financial achievement, as well as a strong dedication to future business success whether this is on their own or balancing a home family life too.


7.Employee of the Year

This is a person that has been nominated by their Company. This person may work behind the scenes, customer facing or in sales/business development role. Someone, who has gone that extra mile for the Company.

If chosen, we will ask the company to tell us why they believe this person deserves this Award.


8.Achieves for Charity Award

This person is someone who works on behalf of a charity or social enterprise, or they are doing something special for the local community.  This may be charitable, volunteering, pro bono or simply supporting an organisation with their time.

The Judges will focus on how that person has contributed to the community.


9.Inspirational Woman Award

This is open to everyone to recognise someone they feel is that special lady in our community and would like to nominate this person explaining why this lady is so special.


10.Young Achiever Award 1

 Sponsored by Coventry University

This is award is to recognise someone within full-time Education, whether studying at School, College or University.  This young lady is a ‘Rising Star’ recognised by their Educational Establishment for their hardworking and determination to succeed and is someone who has a bright future ahead and deserve to be recognised.


11.Young Achiever Award 2

This is an award to recognise a lady who has decided to choose to carry on their education whilst working at the same time, or someone who has decided to develop their career by going back to college or university. This lady will either be an apprentice or on day release whilst being paid to study at College/University or undertaking night classes in their own time/at their expense.

This award is to recognise how they are a ‘Rising Star’ by either the Educational Provider, College, University or Employer considering they are combining working and studying at the same time over the last 12 months to further develop themselves.


12.Venue or Venue Host Award

This is an award to open to companies who feel that this lady, who runs or hosts a venue/location and has provided that company with excellent service either for them as a client or has made a dramatic impact on the region or helped the community.


13.Engaging and Support Venue Award

This person is someone who through their hosting, reporting and writing, has kept the region very informed and aware of what has been going to their audience.
